When Diamante AFC's Aristides Txilar in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Leales's goalie prevented a goal. Gavino Ubelteso charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Ubelteso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Gavino Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Chepe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filomeno Ospin. Los Leales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Leales's zone, Aristides Txilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Ospin came out of the goal and Aristides Txilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Txilar in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Leales defense, Aristides Txilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Ospin. The Los Leales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Ospin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Txilar in the 29th minute of play forced Los Leales's goalkeeper Filomeno Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Veronica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Abelardo Cambranes made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Leales's Prudencio Veronica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Cambranes. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. After 45 minutes, Prudencio Veronica made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Diamante AFC's Abelardo Cambranes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Txilar was the one to do the kick off. When Clemente Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Diamante AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Xacintu couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Nicanor Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Cambranes having to interfere. Celso Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Cambranes having to interfere. Clemente Xacintu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filomeno Ospin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Diamante AFC's zone, Celso Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Cambranes came out of the goal and Celso Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Diamante AFC's Abelardo Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Veronica in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Prudencio Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Cambranes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Gonzalez in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Cambranes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Leales's Prudencio Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Celso Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Leales's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Gonzalez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Cambranes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicanor Toro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes, Los Leales's Amador Oro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abelardo Cambranes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Leales reached it.
