Alcira's Cirilo Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Alvarez in the 6th minute of play. If Zeledon Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ladislao Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Mino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Ladislao Heli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Alcira's Angelino Beremundo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Palermo FC booed when Alcira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Azibar might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Chico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Azibar ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Romo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ladislao Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Augusto Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Chico having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Azibar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Palermo FC's Ladislao Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Loco in the 52nd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Mino couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Palermo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Loco came free, but Ladislao Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palermo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
