A collision led to Alcira getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luciano Bixintxo hit a great ball. Santo Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Guillermo Senin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Remigio Salbatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Lorien was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Nicasio Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Apolo Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcira's Teodosio Loco got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cirilo Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Paulin in the 39th minute of the match. If Rodolfo Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Cirilo Chico made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Cirilo Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Paulin in the 51st minute of the match. If Santo Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Teodosio Loco put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Lorien. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
