After having played for 4 minutes, Gerardo Leizarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colchoneros a.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Leizarraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Jonatan Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lions Pride FC booed when Colchoneros a.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lions Pride FC's Pedrão Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Leizarraga in the 46th minute of play. The Colchoneros a.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lions Pride FC were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Sindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Bizen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Gerardo Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Colchoneros a.c's goalkeeper Zacarias Venceslas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Toribio. Lions Pride FC's Pedrão Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Leizarraga in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Lions Pride FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Min. After a rather tough play, Lions Pride FC's Jairo Cordera got a free kick in the 71st minute. Pedrão Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrão Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Pedrão Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Leizarraga in the 78th minute of play. Simon Hechter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Venceslas having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Min got free with Zacarias Venceslas in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Simon Hechter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 96 played minutes Colchoneros a.c got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Benvide. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lions Pride FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
