With a little luck, Plátanos AFC's Augusto Isauro got control of the ball when Victor Ubendu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Mannie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Cuarto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Depostivo Español's Mariano Martxot got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Higinio Mannie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Depostivo Español's Cristobal Cuarto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Ubendu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Isauro firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Club Depostivo Español's Victor Ubendu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Isauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Depostivo Español's Antonio Cedro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augusto Isauro. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Antonio Cedro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 minutes, Ricardo Palben mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plátanos AFC and the Club Depostivo Español players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Depostivo Español booed when Plátanos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Gauargi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Isauro. Plátanos AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Igor Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Augusto Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Depostivo Español's Cristobal Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Mannie in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Higinio Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plátanos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Plátanos AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Depostivo Español from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
