In the 39th minute of the match, Santo Sindo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gualterio Xabel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gualterio Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Leonardo Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colchoneros a.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Benvide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Xabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualterio Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Santo Sindo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gualterio Xabel, passed just outside the right post.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Santo Sindo sped through Corti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gualterio Xabel. If Leonardo Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Leonardo Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Colchoneros a.c's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Bernad came free, but Zacarias Venceslas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Santo Sindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Santo Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Xabel having to interfere. Gerardo Leizarraga's late challenge caught a Corti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. Gerardo Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Colchoneros a.c's Santo Sindo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corti's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Corti defense, Leonardo Benvide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Xabel. The Corti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Xabel should have stopped the shot. Gerardo Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
