Plátanos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Bernat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lorenzo Perpinya kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Pedrão Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Plátanos AFC's Augusto Isauro got control of the ball when Jonatan Toribio tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Lions Pride FC's Augusto Isauro threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lorenzo Perpinya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Plátanos AFC's Augusto Isauro got control of the ball when Silvestre Timo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Min stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Min in the 53rd minute of play forced Plátanos AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Igor Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plátanos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions Pride FC the free kick. After 57 minutes of play, Lions Pride FC's Jonatan Toribio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Isauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Plátanos AFC's Igor Francesco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Igor Francesco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Plátanos AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Igor Francesco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Silvestre Timo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Timo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lions Pride FC's Silvestre Timo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Lions Pride FC's Pedrão Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Lions Pride FC from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes, Marcos Diegotxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions Pride FC and the Plátanos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Lions Pride FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Diegotxe. In the 76th match minute, Plátanos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Nahia to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Diegotxe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Plátanos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Palben to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Leandro Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Plátanos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Bibiano. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Jonatan Toribio put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Isauro. In the 91st minute, Leandro Min left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions Pride FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Augusto Isauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Min's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
