Tomas Pirmin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes of play, Club Depostivo Español's Antonio Cedro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Pirmin was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Cristobal Cuarto managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Rumi's Leonel Elazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonel Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Cuarto having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Antonio Cedro in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 33rd match minute, Rumi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Balendin to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Antonio Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Cuarto having to make a save. Victor Ubendu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Pirmin. Tomas Pirmin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Panpili was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Club Depostivo Español's zone, Leonel Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Cuarto came out of the goal and Leonel Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Depostivo Español's Cristobal Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Panpili in the 59th minute of play. Leonel Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Leonel Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumi's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Cuarto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Depostivo Español's Cristobal Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Elazar in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Benjamin Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Cuarto having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Leonel Elazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Cuarto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Mariano Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rumi's Eliseo Kaxen tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Balendin's late challenge caught a Club Depostivo Español's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Balendin helped the player get up and apologised. If Antonio Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Club Depostivo Español's Tomas Pirmin threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonio Cedro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
