The Esperanza AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Isusko should have stopped the shot. Los Abejorros Club's Nestor Duardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Los Abejorros Club from getting a goal against them. Santo Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Marin in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Esperanza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Marin came free, but Santo Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Jeremias Fidele made the kick off in the second half. Santo Isusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Claude in the 54th minute.
