If Ivan Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Higinio Mannie fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Israel Sidro made the kick off in the second half. Igor Francesco charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Francesco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. River3 boca1's Ivan Jax came free and shot a quick shot against goal 54 minutes in the game, fortunately Augusto Isauro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Plátanos AFC booed when River3 boca1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River3 boca1's zone, Jonas Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Tximitx came out of the goal and Jonas Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. River3 boca1's Gaspar Argina shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Augusto Isauro but with some difficulty. Augusto Isauro made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ivan Jax sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Ricardo Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
