Jeremias Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Cuarto having to interfere. Jeremias Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cristobal Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Isusko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Ubendu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. A collision led to Esperanza AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Virgilio Tonio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Antonio Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Depostivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Cedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Isusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Fidele got free with Cristobal Cuarto in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Esperanza AFC booed when Club Depostivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Club Depostivo Español's Edelmiro Mateus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edelmiro Mateus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Depostivo Español protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edelmiro Mateus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Depostivo Español's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgilio Tonio was slow to take the kick. During this time Esperanza AFC's players had a chance to rest. Esperanza AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Virgilio Tonio in the 52nd minute. The corner led Esperanza AFC's Virgilio Tonio to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristobal Cuarto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jeremias Fidele made the kick off in the second half. Cristobal Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Club Depostivo Español's zone, Ivan Peli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Cuarto came out of the goal and Ivan Peli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Erasmo Silviano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Cuarto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Esperanza AFC's Santo Isusko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Esperanza AFC from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Club Depostivo Español's Anier Gauargi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Club Depostivo Español getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mariano Martxot hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esperanza AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Depostivo Español had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
