After having played for 3 minutes, Narciso Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Bernad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Esperanza AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Virgilio Tonio hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 8th minute when Narciso Bernad elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Teo Cordearo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Corti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Cordearo couldn't finish the play. Teo Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Isusko having to interfere. Teo Cordearo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Santo Isusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corti. Santo Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Cordearo in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Enmanuel during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Jeremias Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Isusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Narciso Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Santo Isusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esperanza AFC's Santo Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Bernad in the 68th minute of play. Narciso Bernad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Corti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Narciso Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Santo Isusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gualterio Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Fidele's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Jeremias Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Xabel having to interfere. The Corti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
