Leonel Elazar in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Isauro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Panpili in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Isauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Higinio Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Pirmin having to interfere. Tomas Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Mannie in the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Mannie in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Pirmin saved Rumi from getting behind. When Jonas Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Plátanos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Vermudo couldn't finish the play. If Dalmacio Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Augusto Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Plátanos AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Igor Francesco hit a great ball. Leonel Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th match minute, Plátanos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Panpili made a kick off. Augusto Isauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonas Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Plátanos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Vermudo couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Leonel Elazar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Plátanos AFC's Augusto Isauro. Augusto Isauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Plátanos AFC's zone, Leonel Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Isauro came out of the goal and Leonel Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes Plátanos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Palben. Augusto Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Tomas Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Mannie in the 86th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Higinio Mannie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plátanos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 88th minute, Igor Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Pirmin was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Higinio Mannie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Higinio Mannie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 96th minute, Benjamin Panpili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Isauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
