The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Atarrabi got free with Maximino Asteri in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Ekhi in the 29th minute of play forced Regatas SN's goalkeeper Mateo Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antonio Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam On Radio's Maximino Asteri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Sam On Radio from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Martxot was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Tipi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Regatas SN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evaristo Tipi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mariano Cordarrell was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Victor Chorache's late challenge caught a Regatas SN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Chorache helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Chorache hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Antonio Atarrabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regatas SN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Maximino Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Atarrabi in the 83rd minute of play. Maximino Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Regatas SN had won after a very even match.
