Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Raimundo Lehen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Devoto the free kick. Raimundo Lehen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Aquilino Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Robustiano Manny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Unai during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atlético Devoto booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes in the game, Silverio Frans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Melchor Enmanuel having to interfere. When Atlético Devoto's Silverio Frans in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Frans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Bonifacio Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Lehen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Atlético Devoto's Roque Lando got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquilino Santana came out of the goal and Bonifacio Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Nuñez in the 77th minute of play. Arnoldo Illan's late challenge caught a Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Illan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Arnoldo Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Matias Kimetz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 83rd minute Roque Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Atlético Devoto's protests and gave Bernardino Enaut a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Atlético Devoto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca:s goal. After 100 minutes Atlético Devoto's goalkeeper Aquilino Santana managed, with a little bit of luck, save Matias Kimetz's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Aquilino Santana came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Matias Kimetz. But to his dismay, Matias Kimetz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.
