Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silvano Maraman got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Cazón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Remicio to maneuver through the defense. Covunco FC's Cecilio Montez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sergio Ranolfo but with some difficulty. Sergio Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ieltxu in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Covunco FC's Emilio Gumaro got a free kick in the 16th minute. Evaristo Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Criston having to interfere. When Filomeno Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cazón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Leheren couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Criston having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Adrian Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Maraman in the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Evaristo Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cazón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Oroitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Criston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Maraman in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Criston saved Covunco FC from getting behind. Leo Criston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Oroitz went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sergio Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ieltxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cazón FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Ieltxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leo Criston didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. If Silvano Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Cazón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ieltxu came free, but Sergio Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Criston having to interfere. With a little luck, Covunco FC's Leo Criston got control of the ball when Evaristo Oroitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Filomeno Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Ranolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Emesto went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cazón FC's Sergio Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Marin in the 77th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Silvano Maraman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Covunco FC's Leo Criston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Leo Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Cazón FC's Filomeno Leheren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Criston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leo Criston made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Oroitz in the 86th minute. Silvano Maraman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Criston having to interfere. Filomeno Leheren struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Leo Criston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cazón FC. If Filomeno Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Emesto in the 97th minute of play forced Cazón FC's goalkeeper Sergio Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazón FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
