When Amador Gilen fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ambrosetti's protests and gave Amador Gilen a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, one of Ambrosetti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Ambrosetti's Abel Veremundo got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Romeo Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.D Catalina's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Ciriaco Tallia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Enzo James shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Ponc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Montay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeo Socorro came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montay slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Montay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Felix Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.D Catalina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montay might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Socorro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montay ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Ambrosetti defense, Felix Montay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Socorro. The Ambrosetti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Socorro should have stopped the shot. Romeo Ladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Socorro having to interfere. After some careless play in the C.S.D Catalina defense, Edgardo Brais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gogo Ponc. The C.S.D Catalina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gogo Ponc should have stopped the shot. Tadeo Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Ladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Moises Corderun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gogo Ponc, 4-2. In the 83rd match minute, Ambrosetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Semeno to maneuver through the defense.
