The tension between the CAROLIN FC and the Miñones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Miñones FC booed when CAROLIN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Anselmo Nicholas made a huge save. After 31 minutes of play, CAROLIN FC's Baldomiro Madaleno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Ofelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmo Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Sergi in the 34th minute of play. Octavio Belmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, CAROLIN FC's Anselmo Nicholas got control of the ball when Octavio Belmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half CAROLIN FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eustacio Sergi made the kick off in the second half. If Octavio Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miñones FC's Everardo Martinez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. Eustacio Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Nicholas having to interfere. Roque Su recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
