An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Estavan in the 17th minute of play forced MASTERS FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, MASTERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Estavan came free, but Gualterio Felipillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Haritz struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Prospero Markel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MASTERS FC. 28 minutes into the game, Marcos Haritz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prospero Markel. Marcos Haritz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gualterio Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Felipillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Ignatius went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 1-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Urbano Estavan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The MASTERS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esmeralda were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Haritz made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, MASTERS FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Felipillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Estavan. 57 minutes into the game, Herminio Eguzki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esmeralda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MASTERS FC the free kick. Herminio Eguzki kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Marcos Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Markel having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Saul Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Gualterio Felipillo managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Esmeralda's Urbano Estavan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gualterio Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Felipillo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Suarez in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Felipillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute Marcos Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Prospero Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Esmeralda got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Ugutz. If Marcos Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The MASTERS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esmeralda's performance. The match ended with a win for Esmeralda.
