Sarmiento FC's Prospero Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Sandalio in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Gabriel Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Curapaligüé FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Esiquio came free, but Bernabe Jokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sarmiento FC defense, Felix Sandalio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Lekubegi. The Sarmiento FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Lekubegi should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Curapaligüé FC booed when Sarmiento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Barrionuevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curapaligüé FC's Teodoro Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Veronica struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Prospero Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curapaligüé FC. In the 33rd minute Felix Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Lekubegi having to interfere. When Gabriel Ferman came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Curapaligüé FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Ferman couldn't finish the play. Sarmiento FC's Prospero Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ferman in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Curapaligüé FC's Felix Sandalio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Lekubegi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Octavio Urti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curapaligüé FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Vladimiro Cebo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Urti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Jokin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jatsu in the 54th minute of play. If Gabriel Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento FC's Prospero Lekubegi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Urti in the 57th minute of play. Curapaligüé FC's Octavio Urti suffered a concussion in the 62nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 62 minutes into the game, Feliberto Chayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curapaligüé FC the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Prospero Lekubegi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Sandalio. Prospero Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Lorenz in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento FC's zone, Edgard Lorenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Lekubegi came out of the goal and Edgard Lorenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Felix Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curapaligüé FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Sandalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Prospero Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curapaligüé FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gabriel Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Lorenz in the 82nd minute of play forced Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Prospero Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Lekubegi was a little too slow when Edgard Lorenz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-5. Jacobo Llorian struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Prospero Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curapaligüé FC. In the 94th match minute, Sarmiento FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Beila to maneuver through the defense.
