Spectators: 7178 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 60) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cipriano Handi kicked off to start the match. Javier Danel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Damaso Galtero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento FC. Javier Danel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Galtero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Uriburu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Danel came free, but Damaso Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cipriano Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uriburu AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Handi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarmiento FC's Javier Danel suffered a concussion in the 24th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Denis Nofre hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Esiquio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Galtero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Esiquio ran back to his position shaking his head. Prospero Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Handi in the 33rd minute of play. When Domingo Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sarmiento FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Jatsu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Sarmiento FC defense, Leopoldo Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Lekubegi. The Sarmiento FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Lekubegi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Handi in the 47th minute of play forced Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Prospero Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Jatsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uriburu AFC's Cipriano Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Handi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Lekubegi having to make a save. After 57 played minutes Sarmiento FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Barrionuevo. A collision led to Uriburu AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Enrique Llanos hit a great ball. Prospero Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Cefero in the 75th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Remigio Sayvion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uriburu AFC the free kick. In the 88thth minute of the game Cipriano Handi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarmiento FC's Prospero Lekubegi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Leopoldo Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Uriburu AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarmiento FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
