Bernabe Jokin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th match minute, los juancitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Dabi to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Ramirez hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Curapaligüé FC's Teodoro Veronica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Medina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodoro Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, los juancitos's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Urti came free, but Fabio Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Urti in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Medina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octavio Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Medina didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Urti to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in los juancitos's zone, Octavio Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Medina came out of the goal and Octavio Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Dunixi in the 56th minute of play forced Curapaligüé FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Jokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Veronica hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The long shot by Casimiro Romano in the 62nd minute really tested Bernabe Jokin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. los juancitos's Fabio Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Ferman in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Octavio Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curapaligüé FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of los juancitos booed when Curapaligüé FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Llorian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Teodoro Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curapaligüé FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Teodoro Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fabio Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Urti in the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the los juancitos defense, Teodoro Veronica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Medina. The los juancitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Medina should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curapaligüé FC fully deserved thier win.
