Teodoro Cortez made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Celestino Curcio sent off a good shot on target. Epifanio Serafo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Celestino Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Al Rival Hay Que Pisarlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Curcio couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Cortez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Epifanio Serafo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Eliseo Ceandro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adrian Ferman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Serafo in the 34th minute of play forced URSS's goalkeeper Teodoro Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Basajaun's late challenge caught a Al Rival Hay Que Pisarlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Basajaun helped the player get up and apologised. Niceto Basajaun hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Serafo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, URSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Basajaun to maneuver through the defense. If Epifanio Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Fernan Eduino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al Rival Hay Que Pisarlo and the URSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 minutes of play, URSS's Eliseo Ceandro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Ferman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celestino Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Ferman made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Arsenio Gitano sent off a good shot on target. URSS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patricio Lucero in the 92nd minute. After taking down the ball on URSS's corner Aurelio Nalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adrian Ferman quite easily take care of the ball. In the 94th minute Epifanio Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. URSS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
