Baldomiro Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Nafarroa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Felix Sandalio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Gaston Inocente notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Curapaligüé FC's Bernabe Jokin. Bernabe Jokin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Curapaligüé FC booed when Pinguinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pinguinos's Emilio Ereinotz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bernabe Jokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Oliverio in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Urti in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Firme saved Pinguinos from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Felix Sandalio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomiro Firme. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gabriel Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curapaligüé FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Firme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Curapaligüé FC's Gabriel Ferman got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Firme having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Felix Sandalio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomiro Firme. Pinguinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Sandalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Sandalio in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Firme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Ferman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Ereinotz charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Ereinotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emilio Ereinotz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Oliverio made a kick off. Dionisio Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Firme having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Felix Sandalio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pinguinos's Baldomiro Firme. Baldomiro Firme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the game, Pinguinos's Dionisio Oliverio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Jokin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The nice shot from Felix Sandalio in the 70thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Baldomiro Firme had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Felix Sandalio fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curapaligüé FC's protests and gave Felix Sandalio a yellow card for diving instead. Gaston Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
