Teodoro Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Felix Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Urti in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Veronica in the 24th minute of the match. Teodoro Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Ferman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teodoro Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, URSS's Arsenio Gitano got a free kick in the 31st minute. Arsenio Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, URSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Curapaligüé FC's corner Felix Sandalio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodoro Cortez quite easily take care of the ball. Curapaligüé FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
