The crowd rose to their feet as Filiberto Rosalio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prospero Lekubegi. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Danel in the 20th minute of play forced Viedma AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pascual Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Filiberto Rosalio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prospero Lekubegi. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Dalmacio Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sarmiento FC's Domingo Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Danel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ioritz having to interfere. In the 34th minute Domingo Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Javier Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Ioritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Lekubegi having to interfere. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filiberto Rosalio was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Viedma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Eutropio. Javier Danel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Javier Danel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sarmiento FC booed when Viedma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Pascual Clemencin notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sarmiento FC's Prospero Lekubegi. Prospero Lekubegi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabian Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The long shot by Remigio Sayvion in the 85th minute really tested Bernardo Ioritz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 87 minutes, Ciriaco Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viedma AFC and the Sarmiento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Viedma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Sarmiento FC's Domingo Jatsu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 88 minutes in the game, fortunately Bernardo Ioritz had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With splendid footwork Domingo Jatsu arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-1 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Rosalio in the 93rd minute of play forced Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Prospero Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento FC's zone, Pascual Clemencin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Lekubegi came out of the goal and Pascual Clemencin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarmiento FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Viedma AFC had won, even though Sarmiento FC had held more of the ball.
