With a little luck, Chaviyú FC's Marcelino Pirmin got control of the ball when Pascual Clemencin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Rosio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Chaviyú FC's Marcelino Pirmin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Chaviyú FC from getting a goal against them. If Pascual Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ciriaco Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Viedma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Abreu. Constantino Fernendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Ioritz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Marcelino Pirmin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Filiberto Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Pirmin having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Augusto Rosio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Pirmin skillfully saved the ball. The Viedma AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chaviyú FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Rosalio to make the kick off. Pascual Clemencin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Chaviyú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Clemencin came free, but Marcelino Pirmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viedma AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Constantino Fernendo 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Virgilio Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ioritz having to interfere. Paolo Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Virgilio Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chaviyú FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chaviyú FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
