With his leg Ramiro Abajas managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Gauchos de Boedo's Rodrigo Elequemedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodrigo Elequemedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ramiro Abajas made a huge save. MARIPOSA FUNEBRERA's Ubaldo Eneas suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ernesto Liher fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gauchos de Boedo's protests and gave Ernesto Liher a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gauchos de Boedo's Ernesto Liher got a free kick in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Rodrigo Elequemedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Ramiro Abajas however easily saved by the left post. Ernesto Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Ramiro Abajas managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Gauchos de Boedo's Rodrigo Elequemedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ramiro Abajas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Elequemedo in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Abajas having to interfere. After 23rd play minutes Ernesto Poncio shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ramiro Abajas and just under the crossbar into goal. Ramiro Abajas was a little too slow when Ernesto Poncio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Arnaldo Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Arnaldo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Abajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Poncio in the 34th minute of the match. Ariel Nabar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, MARIPOSA FUNEBRERA's goalkeeper Ramiro Abajas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Elequemedo. In the 38th minute Ernesto Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Abajas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Elequemedo in the 46th minute. Gauchos de Boedo's Nicanor Gipuzkoa suffered a concussion in the 46th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Eugenio Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Elequemedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ramiro Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MARIPOSA FUNEBRERA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Melquiades Sansone hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, MARIPOSA FUNEBRERA's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Liher came free, but Ramiro Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Eugenio Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Abajas having to interfere. Tadeo Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Paolo Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ariel Nabar charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Gauchos de Boedo booed when MARIPOSA FUNEBRERA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Nabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Gauchos de Boedo's Rodrigo Elequemedo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Abajas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ramiro Abajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gauchos de Boedo. In the 86th minute, Ernesto Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87th play minutes Rodrigo Elequemedo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ramiro Abajas and just under the crossbar into goal. Ramiro Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Tadeo Caetano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Paolo Bastian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodrigo Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gauchos de Boedo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
