RacingClubArg's Erasmo Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Vedillo in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Artaud FC booed when RacingClubArg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to RacingClubArg getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Siro Peru hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Odon in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Ospin saved Artaud FC from getting behind. Pascual Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Urki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Erasmo Eleazar made a huge save. Bonifacio Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Eleazar having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lisandro Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. RacingClubArg's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Ospin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Bartoleme hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Pascual Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Roman Walme charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Walme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Roman Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Vedillo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bonifacio Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Vedillo in the 86th minute of play forced RacingClubArg's goalkeeper Erasmo Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, RacingClubArg's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Vedillo came free, but Erasmo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Raphael kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Simon Bibiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Eleazar. RacingClubArg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute, Jacinto Checa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Artaud FC's Pascual Ospin didn't even have to move. Artaud FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
