After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Pablo Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. OTRO LETRAVALADNA's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andres Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Hector Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OTRO LETRAVALADNA. Nicanor Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head. Amancio Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sao Caetano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Pablo Oliveiro scored to the left of an out of position Hector Taurino, making the score, 1-0. Lázaro Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, OTRO LETRAVALADNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Arce to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Andres Nuñez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Sidro was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game.
