Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Salvador Odon made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Salvador Odon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gauchos de Boedo's Paolo Bastian. Paolo Bastian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Elequemedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Eleazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erasmo Eleazar came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Gauchos de Boedo's Ernesto Poncio. But to his dismay, Ernesto Poncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the game, Ernesto Liher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gauchos de Boedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RacingClubArg the free kick. 24 minutes into the match, RacingClubArg's Salvador Odon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Bastian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Luis Donostia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gauchos de Boedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RacingClubArg the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Gauchos de Boedo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RacingClubArg:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for RacingClubArg. Jacinto Checa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paolo Bastian. 1-2. After having played for 42 minutes, Rodrigo Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gauchos de Boedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Epifanio Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute RacingClubArg were awarded a corner. Jacinto Checa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lisandro Savion got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Bastian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 49 minutes into the match, Lisandro Savion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Bastian. Gauchos de Boedo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Savion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Ernesto Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Poncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Eleazar was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, RacingClubArg's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Elequemedo came free, but Erasmo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Ernesto Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ernesto Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Poncio in the 84th minute of play forced RacingClubArg's goalkeeper Erasmo Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind RacingClubArg's goalkeeper Erasmo Eleazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RacingClubArg's Erasmo Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Elequemedo in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RacingClubArg's Jeremias Raphael got a free kick in the 87th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in RacingClubArg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Poncio in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Eleazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 103rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Eleazar having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RacingClubArg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
