The Lomas Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Abaurre should have stopped the shot. Lomas Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Ospin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Artaud FC's Juan Frutos got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Clodoveo Abeita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alfonso Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lomas Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
