Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Empedrado's Joel Harkaitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Julian Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Empedrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Cristofor to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fermin Arlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Pastor Maldonado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19th minute Pastor Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Arlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Empedrado's goalkeeper Eleuterio Pes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Empedrado got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Munio. Eleuterio Pes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Cordera in the 29th minute. Saverio Sotero charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Sotero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Empedrado booed when Trapalcó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Maldonado in the 40th minute of play forced Trapalcó's goalkeeper Fermin Arlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trapalcó's Fermin Arlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Harkaitz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Pastor Maldonado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Empedrado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Empedrado were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Fresco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Empedrado's goalkeeper Eleuterio Pes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute Joel Harkaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Arlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Trapalcó's Apolo Gentza got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Fresco in the 62nd minute of play forced Empedrado's goalkeeper Eleuterio Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Arlo having to interfere. Julian Cordera struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Eleuterio Pes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trapalcó. 69 minutes into the match, Mauro Fresco notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Empedrado's Eleuterio Pes. Eleuterio Pes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mauro Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eleuterio Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Julian Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trapalcó's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Cordera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Cordera might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleuterio Pes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Cordera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Julian Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Julian Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
