In the 3rd minute Lino Diagur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Gilabert scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Quintin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Serafino Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charatas AFC's Antonio Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Charatas AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Nuñez in the 15th minute of play forced Sapag FC's goalkeeper Rafael Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Serafino Heriberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charatas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Sapag FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Nuñez came free, but Rafael Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luisito Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Tomas Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapag FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Erruki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Antonio Quintin made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Charatas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Quintin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Gilabert. Luisito Gilabert might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Quintin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Gilabert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Luisito Gilabert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Antonio Quintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sapag FC's Luisito Gilabert got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisito Gilabert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Antonio Quintin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 41 played minutes Charatas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Cordarius. Tomas Erruki was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Antonio Quintin managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Sapag FC's Luisito Gilabert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 minutes of play, Charatas AFC's Bernabe Virila made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Eztebe was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Nuñez to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Charatas AFC's Zacarias Kismi got a free kick in the 66th minute. The Sapag FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Sapag FC's Luisito Gilabert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Luisito Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapag FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Erruki came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sapag FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Erruki couldn't finish the play. Rafael Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sapag FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Andres Iban hit a great ball. Luisito Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Antonio Quintin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Charatas AFC's zone, Tomas Erruki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Quintin came out of the goal and Tomas Erruki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Serafino Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
