In the 19th minute, Eugenio Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pablo Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Juan Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. baratto's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 44 minutes, Carlos Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. angeles.caidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Maureo made a kick off. Dionisio Hitz, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind angeles.caidos's goalkeeper Pablo Abechuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute of the match, Leonel Cordario tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Abechuco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Evaristo Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of angeles.caidos booed when baratto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee showed Astor Udalaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of angeles.caidos booed when baratto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Lauren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. baratto's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
