The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes Alem got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Baudelio. In the 60th minute, Carlos Tevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Macario was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jean-Charles Graffin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Socorro in the 65th minute of the match. Carlos Tevez took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Macario. A collision led to Giant Killing getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hector Saturnin hit a great ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 78th minute, when Alem's Francisco Bitxintxo after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jean-Charles Graffin in Giant Killing's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Tevez in the 81st minute of play forced Alem's goalkeeper Enzo Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Alem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Baudelio to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, one of Alem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Giant Killing. Albino Isadore stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enzo Macario. 6-0. Osvaldo Demario might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Macario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Demario ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean-Charles Graffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Socorro in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Giant Killing players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
