BORDOLAGA F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, BORDOLAGA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Aresti came free, but Leonardo Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to BORDOLAGA F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arnulfo Lizardi hit a great ball. Hector Saturnin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Montes. BORDOLAGA F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laureano Senio struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Leonardo Montes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giant Killing. If Carlos Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in BORDOLAGA F.C.'s zone, Anastasio Aresti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Montes came out of the goal and Anastasio Aresti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Tevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BORDOLAGA F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cristo Cordarryl hit a great ball. Leonardo Montes came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Giant Killing's Carlos Tevez. But to his dismay, Carlos Tevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Senio to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Tevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Senio got free with Leonardo Montes in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 minutes, Rodolfo Lamberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORDOLAGA F.C. and the Giant Killing players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giant Killing's Vladimiro Donzel was substituted for Remigio Costante. Rodolfo Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Arnulfo Lizardi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Charles Graffin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonardo Montes was a little too slow when Osvaldo Demario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. During the 72nd minute of the match Rodolfo Lamberto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rodolfo Lamberto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rodolfo Lamberto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Laureano Senio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Osoitz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Anastasio Aresti might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Montes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Aresti ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the game, Teodosio Froila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BORDOLAGA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giant Killing the free kick. Teodosio Froila kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Osvaldo Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Leonardo Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giant Killing's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
