In the 19thth minute of the game Pastor Ihintza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Saul Poz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Presidente Derqui's Pastor Ihintza in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 30 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Ciceron. Boca Juniors's Domingo Calisto got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Orlondo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Saul Poz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Presidente Derqui. Presidente Derqui's Jimeno Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Calisto in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Ihintza to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Orlondo came free, but Saul Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Poz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Chorche in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Pastor Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Presidente Derqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Pastor Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Pastor Ihintza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Poz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 72nd minute, Pastor Ihintza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pastor Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Atilano Chorche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Saul Poz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saul Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ihintza in the 88th minute of the match. Presidente Derqui's Pastor Ihintza got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Ciceron. There was no doubt that Presidente Derqui were the better team. Presidente Derqui's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
