When Siro Ponce was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. Siro Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ponc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave mathias FC the free kick. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gabriel Ponc hit a great ball. Ubaldo Erlantz's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. When Julian Theodore came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Theodore couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Julian Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingo Calisto was the one to do the kick off. Baltasar Iratzeder made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Boca Juniors's Rigoberto Ciceron. In the 60th minute Rigoberto Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Bittor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Poz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Udalaitz went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 84th match minute, mathias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Erlantz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Gabriel Ponc got a free kick in the 85th minute. Fernando Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Bittor having to interfere. Domingo Calisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Fernando Udalaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of mathias FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Boca Juniors side.
