In the 7th match minute, Carrenleufú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Quintyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Saul Poz made a huge save. If Gualterio Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca Juniors's Domingo Calisto got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Julian Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Enzo Niguel fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrenleufú FC's protests and gave Enzo Niguel a yellow card for diving instead. Enzo Niguel hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Rigoberto Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Ciceron couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrenleufú FC's zone, Domingo Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Laurendi came out of the goal and Domingo Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Teo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Hermelando to make the kick off. If Domingo Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Rigoberto Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Laurendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Osasun's late challenge caught a Carrenleufú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Osasun helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carrenleufú FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Gabriel Ponc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Laurendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Calisto went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Teo Laurendi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Domingo Calisto. But to his dismay, Domingo Calisto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Osasun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teo Laurendi. That made the score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. Boca Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
