The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Chelco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Saul Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Gorka in the 11th minute of play. Manuel Cresencio's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Calisto in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Saul Poz got control of the ball when Fausto Gorka tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Boca Juniors players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
