Constantino Uxio started the match with the kick off. Atilano Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cleto Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguelon's Cleto Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ihintza in the 6th minute of play. Jimeno Orlin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Prospero Nikola. In the 9th minute, Alfredo Gaizkine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Miguelon's Isidoro Nisio got a free kick in the 16th minute. Domingo Orlondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Xabel having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Miguelon's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Gaizkine came free, but Cleto Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Atilano Chorche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Xabel. Miguelon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Chorche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Pastor Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pastor Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Pastor Ihintza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Xabel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Presidente Derqui's Pastor Ihintza. But to his dismay, Pastor Ihintza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cleto Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ihintza in the 37th minute of play. Cleto Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Gaizkine's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Pastor Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Presidente Derqui's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Ihintza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Xabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilano Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Stanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Ihintza made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Urtats during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pastor Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Xabel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ihintza in the 55th minute of play forced Miguelon's goalkeeper Cleto Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes in the game, Serafin Blanco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cleto Xabel having to interfere. Pastor Ihintza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cleto Xabel came out and tried to block the shot, but Pastor Ihintza slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 59th minute. Cleto Xabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafin Blanco in the 70th minute. Pastor Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Xabel having to interfere. Alfredo Gaizkine let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 77th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Pastor Ihintza struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Cleto Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Presidente Derqui. In the 84th minute Pastor Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Ihintza struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cleto Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Presidente Derqui. If Atilano Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Miguelon's goalkeeper Cleto Xabel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Gaizkine.
