Ermegildo Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carrenleufú FC's zone, Abelardo Ruy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Laurendi came out of the goal and Abelardo Ruy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes Centro Austro-Hungaro got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Norino. Guillermo Berenguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Gualterio Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrenleufú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Hermelando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Abelardo Ruy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrenleufú FC's Teo Laurendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo Laurendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Severino Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Laurendi having to make a save. Teo Laurendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Ruy's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Teo Laurendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Ermegildo Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrenleufú FC's protests and gave Ermegildo Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Ermegildo Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Quintyn got free with Guillermo Berenguer in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jesus Gotzon fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centro Austro-Hungaro's protests and gave Jesus Gotzon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Jesus Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th play minute Eulalio Quintyn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guillermo Berenguer. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Severino Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Teo Laurendi made a huge save. Abelardo Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Laurendi having to interfere. Centro Austro-Hungaro's Severino Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Abelardo Ruy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carrenleufú FC's Teo Laurendi. Teo Laurendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Carrenleufú FC's zone, Jesus Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Laurendi came out of the goal and Jesus Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Severino Botello came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Centro Austro-Hungaro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Botello couldn't finish the play. In the 99th minute Eulalio Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Centro Austro-Hungaro's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Carrenleufú FC had won, even though Centro Austro-Hungaro had held more of the ball.
