Roman Jorrin started the match with the kick off. Severino Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ladislao Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, General Lamadrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Papo to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Severino Sasoin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislao Oso. Severino Sasoin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Severino Sasoin might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Oso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Sasoin ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Benedicto Sarracino in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by General Lamadrid's Severino Sasoin. Adrian Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Teodosio Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Chinto having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Adrian Ostadar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Roman Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velvet Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in General Lamadrid's zone, Adrian Ostadar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Chinto came out of the goal and Adrian Ostadar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Jorrin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 46 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The supporters of Velvet Fútbol Club booed when General Lamadrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Papo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Sasoin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cristian Papo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ladislao Oso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Sasoin in the 56th minute of play forced Velvet Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Ladislao Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Velvet Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Sarracino. General Lamadrid's Dario Mannie couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Velvet Fútbol Club. The throw-in from Benedicto Sarracino in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by General Lamadrid's Severino Sasoin. Ladislao Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Sasoin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Ostadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Severino Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Lamadrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Sasoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ladislao Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. General Lamadrid's Cristian Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Velvet Fútbol Club's zone, Severino Sasoin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Oso came out of the goal and Severino Sasoin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Ostadar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Adrian Ostadar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes General Lamadrid got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Papo. Roman Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Chinto having to interfere. Many of Velvet Fútbol Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Velvet Fútbol Club may have spent more time on the ball, but General Lamadrid were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
