Del Parque United FC's Generoso Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Fernado in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play Del Parque United FC's Carlos Iratze was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Carlos Iratze hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Christian Fernado came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Fernado couldn't finish the play. Teo Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Claudio Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Del Parque United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Fernado came free, but Generoso Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Claudio Izotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Enekoitz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Fernado in the 28th minute of play forced Del Parque United FC's goalkeeper Generoso Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Fernado in the 31st minute of play. Teo Enekoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Izotz having to make a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Enekoitz made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Teo Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Del Parque United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Izotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Prudencio Tauro fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Parque United FC's protests and gave Prudencio Tauro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Del Parque United FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Prudencio Tauro hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, one of Del Parque United FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 79 minutes into the game, Christian Fernado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Generoso Veronica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Del Parque United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Ferman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Teo Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Izotz came out of the goal and Teo Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Enekoitz in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Izotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Del Parque United FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
