After having played for 22 minutes, Fermin Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Del Parque United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Ferman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Roque Ostots left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 29th minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. Del Parque United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Toli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Racing Club's Tobias Toli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Generoso Veronica in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Generoso Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Gorri in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Del Parque United FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Carlos Iratze hit a great ball. Generoso Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tobias Toli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Generoso Veronica. Del Parque United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Octavio Gorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Iratze during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Del Parque United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Iratze to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Octavio Gorri made the kick off in the second half. Fermin Ferman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Octavio Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Gorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Del Parque United FC's Generoso Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Gorri in the 59th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Serafin Gaueko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Roque Ostots sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Veronica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prudencio Tauro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Carlos Iratze got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Octavio Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Serafin Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Del Parque United FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Club.
