After a rather tough play, Talleres's Benjamin Fiz got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Gau in the 14th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Epifanio Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Gau charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Gau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicanor Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Epifanio Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Panfilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes, Benjamin Fiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talleres and the Anguilan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Anguilan AFC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicanor Gau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Talleres's Epifanio Panfilo. 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Isaias Lon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Epifanio Panfilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Epifanio Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Urdaspal's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Epifanio Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Urdaspal in the 35th minute of play. Talleres's Epifanio Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Urdaspal in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Domeka to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cayetano Urdaspal sped through Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Epifanio Panfilo. Hilario Txordon's late challenge caught a Anguilan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Txordon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Txordon to maneuver through the defense. Talleres's Flavio Chorache couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Anguilan AFC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Txordon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Anguilan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Pacifico to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Anguilan AFC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Anguilan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Teodor came free, but Erasmo Hustaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Panfilo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Paulino Cesario sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Raphael during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Anguilan AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lucas Raphael hit a great ball. Flavio Chorache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Hustaz. Anguilan AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Urdaspal in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Panfilo saved Talleres from getting behind. Victorio Ortle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Hustaz having to make a save. Epifanio Panfilo was a little too slow when Cayetano Urdaspal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Erasmo Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Txordon in the 78th minute of play. Erasmo Hustaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Figueroa in the 81st minute of play. In the 89th minute, Cayetano Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Anguilan AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Damaso Richie hit a great ball. When the match was over Anguilan AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talleres throughout the match.
