The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Heckos booed when TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes Heckos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafin Gonzalez who took care of the corner kick. 13 minutes into the game, Mauro Hitzeder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hilario Dolfos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Berdaitz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Jonathan Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Gonzalez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Pes in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Aires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Menendo got free with Julian Aires in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Heckos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Pes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 43rd minute, Jonathan Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heckos's Julian Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Pes in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Hitzeder to make the kick off. When Adan Abastas fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO's protests and gave Adan Abastas a yellow card for diving instead. Adan Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jonathan Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO's Jonathan Pes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbano Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Aires having to interfere. Heckos's Jorge Louis got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mauro Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heckos's Julian Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Abastas in the 93rd minute of play. Adan Berdaitz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Urbano Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TIRAME UN CAÑO Y TE PARTO were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
