The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Godfredo Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Garaile struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Constantino Isaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Markel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Arixo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cordona AFC's zone, Constantino Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Arixo came out of the goal and Constantino Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Markel struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Cornelio Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aive AFC. With his leg Cornelio Arixo managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Aive AFC's Constantino Isaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Aive AFC's Jairo Markel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornelio Arixo. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Jairo Markel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelio Arixo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Aureliano Abeita fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordona AFC's protests and gave Aureliano Abeita a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Aureliano Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jairo Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Jairo Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aive AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Markel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Jairo Markel put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cornelio Arixo. In the 47th match minute, Aive AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Oihan to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jairo Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aive AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Arixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Aive AFC's Constantino Isaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Arixo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Alejandro Oihan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aive AFC's Leon Crispo was substituted for Jairo Markel. Baltasar Garaile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Crispo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Arixo. Cornelio Arixo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Alejandro Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cornelio Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Orzaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cordona AFC's Cornelio Arixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Crispo in the 85th minute of play. Constantino Isaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cornelio Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Arixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Crispo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Cornelio Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aive AFC. Leon Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aive AFC had played much better football throughout.
