Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Atraucó's Santos Foro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorio Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Diego Astigar might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Venceslao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Astigar ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Baudelio in the 8th minute of play forced Atraucó's goalkeeper Daniel Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Froilan Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Necol AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Honesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute of the match Reynaldo Loiola shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Honesto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Froilan Baudelio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Daniel Honesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Necol AFC. After having played for 28 minutes, Froilan Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Necol AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fermin Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atraucó's Daniel Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Vellito in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atraucó's zone, Fermin Vellito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Honesto came out of the goal and Fermin Vellito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fermin Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Baudelio to make the kick off. Daniel Honesto came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Necol AFC's Fermin Vellito. But to his dismay, Fermin Vellito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fermin Vellito got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 64th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. In the 66th minute, Atraucó's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Froilan Baudelio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fermin Vellito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Honesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jacobo Mendebal hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Diego Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Foro in the 78th minute of the match. If Santos Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Necol AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
